The CDC has stated that one of the major social detriments of health is having stable and adequate housing. Unstable housing can lead to many challenges in the wellbeing of their residents. The Marion Civil Rights Commission is dedicated to Marion being a strong and vibrant community that is welcome to all. Innovative proposals are sought from organizations and non-profits that have programs dedicated to helping those who are at risk for housing instability and/or address the ripple effects of that instability.
Funding information
- Up to $20,000 is available through the Low & Moderate Income Housing Assistance Grant.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations and non-profits that have programs dedicated to helping those who are at risk for housing instability and/or addressing the ripple effects of that instability.
- City of Marion and the Marion Civil Rights Commission seek to fund only new programs, services or activities.
