Assistance will be distributed in the form of grants to offset challenges in covering payroll, mortgages or rent, and other operating costs as a result of the public health emergency and measures taken to contain the spread of the virus. These are one-time grants that do not need to be repaid.
Funding Information
Funding will be allocated in the amounts of up to $5,000, $10,000, and $15,000 based on Gross Annual Revenue in 2019.

- Grant Award ($10,000) – Gross Annual Revenue ($500,001-$1,000,000)
- Grant Award ($5,000) – Gross Annual Revenue (Up to $500,000)
Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofit organizations must meet the following criteria to apply for the Cooper City Nonprofit Community Grant Program:
- Be a local nonprofit organization serving the Cooper City community
- Annual gross revenue does not exceed $2,000,000
- Physical address and business operations located in Cooper City
- Nonprofit was open in Cooper City on or before January 1, 2020
- Currently open and operating at the time of application and through the entire application and payment process, even if under reduced capacity
- Be legally registered and fully licensed during the periods 2019, 2020, and 2021
- Experienced loss of annual gross income of 10% or greater after January 1, 2020 (either through loss of annual gross income in 2020 or 2021 from the annual gross income of 2019)
