Details:
The Liberty Perry Selma Town Endowment Fund started as an Acorn Fund with a small initial investment and then grew to a mighty oak with the help of residents and a match from the Foundation’s Rural Philanthropy Fund. The charge was led by the local school system and members of the town council and township government to build a fund that would support projects for the local community. The endowment makes grants annually to support projects in Liberty Township, Perry Township, or the Town of Selma. Project proposals are reviewed and recommended to The Community Foundation Board of Directors by a committee of dedicated residents. The Liberty Perry Selma Town Endowment Fund at the Foundation guarantees a steady stream of income to fund worthwhile projects in the community for years to come.
