This program provides funding for communities to activate publicly accessible spaces for the purposes of artistic use and public programming. The program is designed to utilize artists, temporary creative interventions, and arts organizations to increase community vibrancy and provide space for artistic expression and public engagement.
Funding Information
- The total project cost must be at least twice the amount of the grant request. The maximum grant amount is $10,000.
Grant Period
- The projects occur between July 1, 2022 – December 31, 2023.

- Galleries / Exhibition space
- Performance space
- Installations
- Mural / Public Art Projects
- Pop-up cinemas

Eligibility Criteria
- Established 501(c)(3) organizations based in Kansas
- Units of local government
- Federally recognized tribes
Requirement
- Be incorporated in Kansas and in good standing with the state
- Have fulfilled all outstanding contractual obligations with KCAIC
- Have a SAM UEI number
