Good Roots grants will be evaluated on several factors including:

Funding Information
- The Good Roots grant program, in partnership with the Alabama Urban Forestry Association and Alabama Forestry Commission, supplies up to $1,000 per grant to purchase trees for planting in cities, towns, and communities, and at properties owned by nonprofit organizations across the state.
Eligibility Criteria
Good Roots grants are available to local governments (cities, towns, communities of any size, educational institutions) or city and county school systems, universities, and any 501(c)(3) organization.
