General Fund funding is considered for nonprofit agencies that provide a service that the County could provide. Tourism Funding is considered for nonprofit agencies that enhance and/or attract travel and tourism to the County either through day-to-day operations, events or capital improvements.
Grant funds can be utilized for things such as; tourism events, operational activities, and capital projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- All agency/non-profit grant funds must be used to benefit Onslow County and/or serve Onslow County citizens.
- Tourism-specific funding is considered for agencies/nonprofit agencies that enhance and/or attract travel and tourism to the County either through day-to-day operations, events, or capital improvements.
- Agencies must meet at least one of the following criteria to apply for funding:
- Be a citizen of Onlsow County, NC
- Be able to provide proof of a non-profit status (if applicable)
- Be planning a major event within the County o Be a division of Onslow County Government
