Details:
The purpose of this new round of Arts Relief Fund grants is to help their local arts and culture sector recover from the pandemic. Grants will provide financial support to arts organizations in Jersey City that contribute to their progressive, equitable, and multicultural arts sector. Grant funds may be used toward general operations and facility costs, purchasing health and safety supplies, and marketing and promotional efforts to encourage attendance and participation in arts programs. Priority will be given to arts nonprofits with programs supporting underserved areas and populations of the Jersey City community.
Funding Information
- Applicants can apply for grants of $15,000, $10,000, or $5,000.
- The grant period is expected to be from July – December 2022.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the eligibility requirements below:
- The organization is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
- The organization is headquartered in Jersey City and serves the Jersey City community.
- The organization has a primary mission focused on the arts.
- The organization has at least one part-time staff member in an administrative role (can include a salaried or contract employee).
- The organization has been in operation for at least 2 years prior to the application.
Please note: Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for the grant. Individuals, for-profit entities, and fiscal sponsors are not eligible.
