The Grandfather Community Foundation embodies one of Grandfather Golf & Country Club’s core values community. They do that by providing financial assistance to employees and local agencies in need. They also offer academic scholarships to Avery County high school students.
People have emergencies. Cars break down. Food banks need supplies. Kids need computers for school. Students need help paying for higher education.
Eligibility Criteria
- You are eligible for a grant if your organization:
- Is located in Avery County, NC
- Has been in operation for a minimum of 2 years
- You are not eligible if your organization:
- Needs funds for operation expenses only
- Funds are used to promote political or religious beliefs
- Funds be transfer to any other organization
- You must be a non-profit organization and have a current copy of your IRS Tax Exemption letter that must be included with your application.
