The FCPSF is an independent, non-profit service-based organization committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable girls and teen women everywhere but particularly in the District of Columbia.

The mission of the FCPSF is to work in partnership with organizations to facilitate the delivery of resources, opportunities, and experiences that improve life outcomes for girls and teen women (ages 10 up to age 19), and that foster greater understanding and respect among them about their connectedness to each other as members of a global community.

Funding Information

Grant requests are limited to a maximum of $10,000.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Washington, DC nonprofit organization with proof of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status;
    • Organizations without an IRS 501(c)(3) designation may only apply in partnership with an organization with this designation; the 501(c)(3) organization must meet all eligibility criteria;
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in delivering services to girls and/or teen women in the District of Columbia;
  • Evidence of successful completion of a minimum of three (3) projects delivering services to girls and/or teen women in the District of Columbia;
  • Strong board involvement and competent leadership; and
  • A proven track record of relationships fostered with other organizations, constituencies in the community, and/or city government agencies, is a plus
