InLiquid Call for Entries for Wind Fellowship 2022 (Pennsylvania)

Dated: April 29, 2022

InLiquid is inviting applications from artists under 30 for their second annual Wind Fellowship for 2022 – 2023!

Donor Name: InLiquid

State: Pennsylvania

City: Philadelphia

Type of Grant: Fellowship

Deadline: 06/30/2022

Details:

This Fellowship, generously funded by the Dina Wind Art Foundation and Friends of InLiquid, was created for artists under 30 to serve them at a time when many artists struggle to establish and maintain a professional artistic practice. The Fellowship provides one year of artist membership at InLiquid, plus extensive marketing, career services, an exhibition, and more. The applicants will be reviewed by a jury of outstanding curators, artists, and arts leaders from around the Greater Philadelphia area. As a catalyst for your career as an artist, the Wind Fellowship creates unique opportunities for artists looking to make connections and improve their career trajectory.

Fellowship Benefits

  • Review and feedback from influential jurors on InLiquid’s Art Advisory Committee, to be announced!
  • Fellows will receive special press release and marketing of award-winners
  • Private reception with Fellows, jurors, the Wind family, and members of the press (contingent on City and CDC guidelines)
  • Increased contact with fellow recipients through meet-ups (contingent on City and CDC guidelines)
  • Individual interviews with each Fellow to be posted on InLiquid’s Online Magazine
  • Virtual or in-person studio tour with a member of InLiquid curatorial staff or member of Arts Advisory Committee
  • One-on-one meeting with InLiquid development staff for assistance in grant, residency, and other applications
  • $100 Gift certificate to BLICK Art Materials for purchase supplies
  • Inclusion in a 2023 group exhibition at the InLiquid Gallery for the Fellows

Eligibility Criteria

  • Artists will be selected based on the excellence of their work and their potential to benefit from InLiquid membership. This open application was created for artists under 30, to serve them at a time when many artists struggle to establish and maintain a professional artistic practice. To further honor the legacy of sculptor, Dina Wind, women, LGBTQ artists, sculptors, and BIPOC are especially encouraged to apply.

Note: Older emerging artists are also served through this fellowship, and are selected under a separate closed nomination process. If you do not feel that you are eligible for this program, but would benefit from an InLiquid membership and need financial assistance, please contact their office for more information on discounts, payment plans, and how to apply. They are here for you and your creative endeavors.
