Funding Information

The Community Relations Commission has allocated a total of $3,000 of funding for applications.

Eligibility Criteria 

Residents of the Worthington School District who are working as:

• An individual or group.
• An organization or neighborhood association.
  • If forming a new community organization or group, they are either:
    • building programs to benefit the Worthington community or
    • supporting individual neighborhoods.
  • Informal groups should provide information on how they are organized and plans for collaboration and sustainability of the project (when appropriate)
• Businesses are not eligible.
• Projects must:
  • Impact and/or support a neighborhood, geographical area, a specific population, or the community as a whole in a meaningful manner.
  • Be on public property. Landscape improvements to private property are ineligible.
  • Not be for the benefit of or a marketing tool for a for-profit business.

Selection Criteria

The Grant Selection Committee will consider project requests which meet as many of the following criteria as possible:

• Fostering or enhancing community
• Creating opportunities to volunteer and work together
• Bolstering partnerships within the community
• Demonstrating sustainability of project beyond initial launch.
