Eligibility Requirements
- Individuals must be leaders (C-suite, senior or department leadership) of a for-profit, locally-owned business headquartered in the Denver metro area (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson counties).
- The business must have 500 or fewer employees and have been in business for two or more years.
- Nominees must agree to participate in a Denver Business Journal interview and the awards presentation in order to be honored and recognized online, in the weekly print edition and at the event.
Judging Criteria
- COMPANY SIZE: Please supply both the number of Denver-area employees and total employees.
- FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE: Please supply your 2023 actual & 2024 estimated gross revenues.
- LEADERSHIP: Has the candidate proven themselves as a leader of their organization and the business community at large? Did they step into a leadership role and expand their role and responsibilities within the organization?
- COMMUNITY IMPACT: What impact has this leader helped the company make in the community and/or industry?
