The ACCF will determine how the grant process can best meet the growing demands of the community. One solution is to utilize the concept of an ‘Impact Grant’. The ACCF has elected to award multiple grants up to $15,000. This may be:
- three (3) $5,000 grants,
- one (1) $5,000 and one (1) $10,000 or
- one (1) $15,000 grant.
Eligibility Criteria
Acceptable grant applications must meet the following requirements:
- Make a wide-reaching difference / impact
- Have a measurable outcome
- Priority will be given to (but not limited to) collaborations
- Serve several Adams County residents (priority is given to events and programs that serve the broadest range of Adams County residents).
Does this request aim to:
- Serve all of Adams County (or a segmented geographical area)?
- Serve a variety of audiences or demographics (or only a segmented portion of the population)?
- Provide a year-around attraction or does it has a seasonal appeal?
- Have an element of economic development (does it have the potential to grow the economy)?
- Be implemented immediately (or will this be over the course of months / years / etc.)?
