RERCs also demonstrate and evaluate such technologies, facilitate service delivery system changes, stimulate the production and distribution of new technologies and equipment in the private sector, and provide training opportunities. Under this particular RERC priority, the grantee must conduct research and development activities toward new rehabilitation technologies and products that promote positive health and function and community living outcomes among children with orthopedic disabilities.
