The City expects to receive an estimated $400,000 in CDBG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for PY 2025-2026. The three national objectives of the CDBG Program include activities that benefit low-and moderate-income persons, aid in the prevention of slums or blight, or meet an urgent community need. Under this NOFA, the City seeks eligible activities provided by nonprofits that meet the national objective of benefiting low-and moderate-income persons or households with incomes no greater than 80% of Santa Clara County’s area median income. HUD limits the amount of CDBG grant funding available for public services to 15% of the City’s grant award.
This NOFA is for eligible activities provided by nonprofit organizations to benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) Gilroy residents residing within the city limits, from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
