Each spring, The Women’s Fund focuses its grant making on programs addressing the unmet needs of women and/or girls on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore. Requests must articulate a direct and measurable benefit of this targeted population in Wicomico, Worcester, and/or Somerset County.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a 501c (3) nonprofit organization, a governmental entity or faith-based program providing non-sectarian programs in the Maryland counties of Wicomico, Worcester or Somerset.
- Projects that have been awarded in the past will be considered and prioritized on the following basis: 1) Past performance (successes/challenges) 2) Planned Program expansion/growth 3) Identification of Loss/Gap funding. If your project does not merit a full award consideration, staff will notify you at the start of the grant cycle.
