The Fiesta Sports Foundation invites all Arizona nonprofit organizations serving in the areas of youth, sports and education to submit an interest form briefly introducing the proposed impact and budget of the project.

At the heart of the Fiesta Sports Foundation is a simple mission: to enhance organizations that contribute to the success of their communities through youth, sports and education. Through its two annual bowl games in the Valley, the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and the Rate Bowl, as well as community events throughout the year, Fiesta Sports Foundation has impacted hundreds of thousands throughout Arizona!
Interest forms will be reviewed and considered based on alignment within the Fiesta Sports Foundation pillars (youth, sports and education) and considering the following criteria:
- Project impact is focused in Arizona
- Alignment with one or more Fiesta Sports Foundation’s pillars
- Methods/activities and use of best practices
- Grant request level is consistent with the project budget
- Sustainability of the project or program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Fiesta Sports Foundation will only accept ONE interest form per organization to the Touchdown, Field Goal or Kickoff Grant.
- Touchdown Grant – $50,000
- Field Goal Grant – $25,000
- Kickoff Grant – $15,000
- The project being submitted through this interest form must align with one of the following Fiesta Sports Foundation funding areas: youth, sports or education.
- Youth: defined as individuals between the ages of 0 and 24 years. Considering the age range 18-24 as a transitional timeframe to adulthood
- Sports: Includes all forms of physical activity which, through casual or organized participation, creates a shared experience where individuals learn teamwork, physical fitness, and wellbeing.
- Education: Project or program that provides a learning and/or mentorship opportunity (STEM, art, life skills, etc.) including, but not necessarily, within a classroom setting.
- The organization must be an Arizona 501(c)(3) organization that operates with fiscal accountability and responsibility. Religious organizations may apply for funding of non-sectarian programs.
- Organizations without 501(c)(3) status must use a fiscal agent to apply on their behalf. Fiscal agents must be a 501(c)(3) organization.
- 100% of the applicant organization’s project must serve residents within the Arizona geographic boundaries.
