Through this program, residents can apply for funding to support projects that enhance their neighborhoods and build stronger community ties.

Applications for funding of up to $2,000 per project in the target areas of the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 9th wards.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a Love Your Block mini-grant, residents, neighborhood groups, and community organizations must:
- Propose a project that promotes unity and has a positive impact on the Evanston community.
- Propose a project that is located in the target area areas of the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 9th Wards.
- Propose a budget that does not exceed $2,000.
- Include or be an Evanston resident within the targeted areas of the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 9th Wards. Submit a project that must be completed by August 31, 2025.
- Be willing to collect and document project data and results.
