The Investor’s Resource Gratitude Fund was formed in 2000 and supports the building of next generation leaders.
Focus Areas
- Spiritual and/or character-building initiatives for middle school or high school aged youth.
- Leadership and/or enrichment opportunities outside of the required curriculum for high school aged youth.

- Organizational Priorities
- Small to medium sized nonprofits (less than $500,000 organizational budget).
- Operating in good standing for at least the past five years.
- Strong executive leadership.
- Programs Priorities
- Support the next generation in developing skills and character in order to become a contribution-focused leader.
- Build on existing programs, thereby allowing the funding to take a program to the next level of success.
- Feature the blending of generational values and opportunities for interaction between youth and experienced adults.
Funding Information
Grant Range: $2,500 – $5,000.
Eligible Expenses
- Program costs for new and/or existing programs.
- Reasonable staff and/or volunteer time and training associated with the implementation of the program/project.
Geographical Focus
- Greater Huntsville area (Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, or Morgan Counties in Alabama).
- Greater Birmingham, Alabama, area if referred and endorsed by an Investor’s Resource current client family or beneficiary.
Eligibility Criteria
All grants from this Fund must be made for charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes to any organization that is described in IRS code as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Qualified organizations also include schools, religious institutions, or government agencies (when the funds are used for a public purpose) located in the Greater Huntsville area or outside the Greater Huntsville if referred and endorsed by an Investor’s Resource current client family or beneficiary.
