Grantees will receive direct funding to support the following activities:
- Recruiting, employing and placing qualified mental health professionals on school campuses.
- Expanding access to SBHSN’s Evidenced-Based Mental Healthcare Model.
- Coordinating mental healthcare services with school administration and staff.
- Delivering mental healthcare services and coordinating academic-support activities to students with a history of attendance, behavior, and poor academic performance (Early Warning Indicators).
- Utilizing SBHSN’s evidenced-based model and curriculum.
Funding Information
- Funding Term: 5-Years, renewable based on meeting performance goals
- 5-year award ceiling is $5,500,000.
Criteria
SBHSN is only accepting applications from applicants in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas.
