Funding Information
The maximum grant amount is $2,500 per project. A total of $22,500 in grants may be awarded this year.
Eligible Projects
Projects may include watershed education and outreach activities, enhancement and restoration activities, volunteer or student projects, and purchase of signage, equipment, or supplies. Grant funds may not be used for lobbying activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grants are available for nonprofit organizations, schools, other groups, and individuals to work collaboratively in or with the Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed Council (CCWC) on drainage, water quality, and habitat issues within the WRIA12 watershed.
- Projects must be located within the Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed (WRIA12). There are no restrictions on who may apply. They encourage nonprofit organizations, schools, teachers, tribes, local governments, and individuals to apply. Be aware that they do not fund profit making, fund raising, lobbying, or other advocacy projects. All applicants (individuals and organizations) are responsible for reporting grant income on their federal income taxes. Thanks to grant administration provided by the Clover Creek Council, the grant funds will be made available upon award. Expense receipts are required.
