Uses of funds
Funds may be used by northern Nevada nonprofits to support the execution of one arts and culture project/event or a series of related activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Must have active incorporation status with the Nevada Secretary of State showing evidence of good standing at the time of application. An indication of active status confirms that the nonprofit corporation is authorized to conduct business in the State of Nevada and has met all licensing and corporation requirements.
- Must have an actively registered Unique Entity ID (UEI) from SAM.gov. You can register/renew/find your organization’s UEI in the System for Award Management (SAM) record.
- Must be in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be based in northern Nevada (as shown by the address on the organization’s IRS 990 form). Preference will be given to applicants based in Carson City.
