Organizations may request up to $15,000 from the City and/or $15,000 from the County, for a maximum combined request of $30,000.
Eligible Programs
Eligible Programs May Include (but are not limited to):
- Food assistance and meal programs for individuals and families in need
- Housing and homelessness services, including shelters, utility/rent support, and transitional housing
- Support services for survivors of domestic violence, abuse, or trauma
- Youth programming, including after-school care, summer enrichment, and early childhood education
- Health and wellness initiatives, such as mental health services, therapeutic supports, and water safety education
- Economic mobility programs, including financial literacy, job training, and transportation access.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on the following:
- Applicant must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
- Programs must serve City of Henderson and/or Henderson County residents.
- Religious programming (such as religious outreach or studies) is not eligible for funding.
