Funding Priorities
The GPOA Foundation DOES consider funding:
- Nonprofit organizations that serve children and youth in Orleans Parish
- Operational costs of programs (including staff and materials)
- Multi-year requests for three years of declining support will be considered for organizations which have clear impact objectives and an evaluation plan. However, grants will be approved a single year at a time
- Collaborative grant request, involving up to three organizations working on a common outcome, are encouraged.

- Programs that take place out of state
- Organizations with large, unrestricted endowments
- Nonprofits that make grants to other nonprofits.
