Funded by private philanthropy and individual donors, Choose When provides financial support to safety net clinics across Colorado to cover the costs of contraception, especially long-acting methods, to improve access to this basic healthcare need.
Eligibility Criteria
Caring for Colorado will consider applications from organizations that benefit Colorado and are:
- Colorado organizations classified as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3).
- Colorado public agencies, including state and local governments and schools.
- New or emerging organizations with 501(c)(3) status are permitted to apply through a tax-exempt organization acting as a fiscal sponsor.
- The fiscal sponsor must maintain full discretion and control over any awarded grant funds and should have the organizational capacity to manage and accept the risks involved with fiscal sponsorship.
- The project must be aligned with the fiscal sponsor’s charitable mission.
- The fiscal sponsor’s board must approve the project as furthering the sponsor’s charitable mission before applying for a grant from Caring for Colorado.
