Funding priority is given to projects that demonstrate a majority of the following:

- Reach a broad segment of the community
- Improve organizational efficiency
- Encourage self-help and/or self-sufficiency on the part of disadvantaged or disabled individuals
- Promote matching gifts and/or enhance fundraising capabilities
- Collaborate with other nonprofit groups to provide innovative, more efficient approaches to solving community issues.

- The average grant size ranges between $10,000 – $15,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofits must be a 501c3 to apply for this program and must be located and providing services within the Foundation’s 21-county service area are eligible to apply.
- The Community Foundation of Central Georgia serves the following 21 counties in Central Georgia: Baldwin, Bibb, Bleckley, Butts, Coffee, Crawford, Dodge, Houston, Jasper, Jones, Lamar, Laurens, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, Spalding, Taylor, Twiggs, Upson, and Wilkinson counties.
