The Metropolitan Regional Arts Council is accepting applications for its 2026 Flexible Support Grant Program. This grant aims to help organizations and groups create and sustain Minnesotans’ access to the arts.
Funding of up to $25,000 is available and can be used for various expenses. These include support for operations and organizational capacity that directly provide arts access. Capital expenses such as facility improvements and equipment purchases are also eligible, with some restrictions. Additionally, funds can support arts programming activities in Minnesota, whether for a single event or a series.
The grant period runs from June 2, 2026, through May 31, 2027. Eligible applicants must maintain a primary address in one of seven metro area counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington.
Applicants can be arts, cultural, or non-arts/non-cultural 501(c)(3) nonprofits, community education units of school districts, public entities such as state, local, or tribal government units, or groups applying with a fiscal sponsor. They must also meet eligibility rules regarding annual expenses limits and leadership.
The grant amount ranges from $10,000 to $100,000, and the application deadline is August 15, 2025. The grant duration is less than one year.
