The Greater Salina Community Foundation is inviting applications for its Kansas Health Foundation Fund, aimed at improving public health in Saline County, Kansas. This fund was created in response to the Kansas Health Foundation’s second chapter of the Giving Resources to the World (GROW II) matching grant challenge.
The program focuses on funding projects that promote healthy lifestyles, behaviors, and environments. It aims to support preventative health programs that encourage wellness in the community. However, grants will not be provided for healthcare services or programs aimed at treating illness.
Eligible organizations include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, educational institutions, government agencies, and religious organizations that operate within Saline County. If your organization does not fit into these categories, it can apply through a fiscal agent. The foundation prioritizes initiatives that support the public health of Saline County and encourages applicants to contact the foundation if there are any questions or uncertainties about their project’s eligibility.
