The Somers Greater Together Community Fund is offering a competitive grant opportunity for nonprofits and municipalities serving the Somers community. This grant supports projects that focus on a range of priority areas designed to benefit local residents.
Eligible projects should address youth engagement activities, after school and outdoor programs, local sports for youth and adults, small business enrichment, community classes or senior activities, environmental initiatives, or arts and cultural events.
Grant awards can be up to $10,000, though partial awards may be considered depending on the proposal.
To qualify, organizations must be registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or be a municipality. Organizations without 501(c)(3) status may partner with a fiscal sponsor that holds this status or is a municipality. Projects funded must directly benefit the residents of Somers.
Applications from sectarian or religious programs, individuals, and for-profit businesses are not eligible for this grant.
