The Wethersfield Greater Together Community Fund is offering a competitive grant opportunity with a total of up to $40,000 available for nonprofits proposing projects that benefit Wethersfield residents.
This grant is provided by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and is open to 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving the Wethersfield community. Groups of town residents may also apply through a registered nonprofit willing to act as their fiscal agent. The Town of Wethersfield can serve as a fiscal agent as well.
Proposals should focus on one or more priority areas, including support services like food and energy assistance, programs for at-risk youth, help for victims of domestic violence, services for disabled, elderly, or low-income residents, mental health support for youth, combating human trafficking, promoting diversity and equity, affordable childcare, and leadership development.
Grant awards typically range from $5,000 to $10,000 and are granted for a 12-month period. The deadline for submissions is July 30, 2025. Nonprofits don’t need to be based in Wethersfield but must serve its residents.
