The Grants-to-Educators program supports the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation’s goal of recognizing and encouraging outstanding classroom teachers in Ohio’s PK-12 public schools.
Applicants must focus on key aspects of Deep Learning. Projects should develop students’ skills in critical reading, writing, research, or mathematics. They can also focus on building problem-solving abilities or fostering self-directed learning. Engaging students to think as scientists, social scientists, or artists is encouraged, as well as promoting interdisciplinary learning. Meaningful problem or project-based learning is also a priority.
The maximum grant amount is $3,000.
These grants are available to teachers and administrators and typically support classroom or school-wide projects. The deadline to apply is August 15, 2025.
