The McCullough-Hyde Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its new Community Granting Program as part of its expanded philanthropic mission. This program aims to invest in addressing significant health needs within local communities. The Foundation plans to partner with and fund local organizations leading efforts to build healthier communities.
The Foundation is inviting proposals from organizations for projects that focus on education, prevention, awareness, wellness opportunities, and direct care. Priority areas include mental health, alcohol and drug abuse, access to healthcare, food insecurities and obesity, and promoting healthy behaviors.
These funding priorities reflect significant health needs identified in the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) published by McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital/TriHealth. The CHNA collects input from diverse sources and highlights critical health issues in Butler, Franklin, Preble, and Union counties, providing detailed location-specific data.
More than $200,000 is expected to be available annually through this grant program. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) or other nonprofit organizations—or have a tax-exempt fiscal sponsor—located in Butler County (OH), Franklin County (IN), Preble County (OH), or Union County (IN).
The McCullough-Hyde Foundation encourages nonprofits working in these regions and health areas to apply and make a meaningful impact on their communities. The application deadline is August 15, 2025.
