This program gives individuals the opportunity to register for a class or workshop and purchase supplies in an art discipline that they have been interested in, but haven’t had the chance or means to pursue.
Individuals are eligible to receive to support for:
- Class fees and materials for an arts related class or workshop within the 9-county region of Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, LeSueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca, or Watonwan counties.
- Purchasing equipment and/or supplies to make art work.
- Up to $50 of mileage/travel within Minnesota.
Funding Information
One-time amount of $250 to an individual.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants need to be 18 years of age or older and a U.S. citizen or an individual who has attained permanent resident status in the United States.
- Applicants will live in the 9-county region of Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, LeSueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca, Watonwan counties for a minimum of six months prior to application.
- Classes need to take place in the 9-county region of Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, LeSueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca, Watonwan counties.
- Degree seeking college tuition and professional licensure courses are ineligible for funding.
