2026 Camelback Fellowship for Early-stage Entrepreneurs

Dated: September 5, 2025

The Camelback Fellowship supports early-stage entrepreneurs dedicated to addressing inequities in the education and technology sectors.

Donor Name: Camelback Ventures

State: All States

County: All Counties

Type of Grant: Grant

Deadline: 09/10/2025

Size of the Grant: Not Available

Grant Duration: Grant Duration Not Mentioned

Details:

Camelback Ventures is committed to empowering entrepreneurs to create impactful solutions that address systemic inequities in Education and Conscious Technology.

Camelback Ventures support early-stage entrepreneurs whose ventures address inequities, particularly those who are closely connected to the problems they aim to solve and the communities they serve. They prioritize entrepreneurs who have demonstrated a commitment to creating solutions for marginalized populations.

The Camelback Fellowship offers support through

  • Coaching – 1:1 relationship with a coach who creates a road map specifically focused to help you reach established goals
  • Capital – Camelback invests in each organization they support, and tailors funding levels for the different stages of acceptance for each track. Ventures are in a “startup” phase and receive $40,000 in the “friends and family” round. For-profits and hybrids receive as a SAFE note or some other alternative funding vehicle; nonprofits and schools receive as grants.
  • Connections – meetings with investors, potential partners and customers, and content experts
  • Community – tight-knit experience through the entire cohort and within tracks, as well as extended Camelback family (including past and present Fellows and Startup Coaches, as well as friends who can’t wait to support new Fellows)
  • Curriculum – an intense program they’ve created to empower undervalued entrepreneurs.

What types of ventures should apply to the Fellowship?

  • Camelback Ventures is looking for ventures that aim to transform education and improve outcomes for communities that are under-resourced. This includes ventures that:
    • Innovate in early childhood, K-12, higher education, adult learning, and alternative education pathways.
    • Develop schools, programs, or products that address gaps in access, equity, and quality of education, especially those that directly benefit students and families in under-resourced communities.
    • Implement solutions that empower educators, enhance learning experiences, and make education more accessible.
  • Camelback Ventures supports tech-driven ventures that harness innovation to address inequities and promote social good. This includes ventures that:
    • Utilize technology to enhance community well-being, such as improving access to healthcare, increasing economic opportunities, and fostering community development.
    • Focus on areas like health & wellness, policy & advocacy, workforce readiness, and other sectors where technology can be a tool for equity and empowerment.
    • Design tech solutions that prioritize ethical considerations and community impact, ensuring that technology serves as a force for positive change.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants must

  • Be over the age of 18.
  • Be able to commit approximately 10 hours per week for 16 weeks to Fellowship activities.
  • Hold a leadership role (Founder, Co-founder, CEO, or Executive Director) in your venture.
  • Reside in the United States or a U.S. Territory.
  • Have proficiency in English.
