Details:
Projects must engage a segment of the community through a public program, such as an exhibition or performance that is open to the public, and/or the inclusion of community involvement in the development and creative process of the artist’s project.
New Work is a highly competitive grant process for Bronx artists of all disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria
- All applicants must:
- Be based in the Bronx and have a primary mailing address in the Bronx.
- An individual artist must:
- Be 18 years of age or older, AND
- Not be a full-time student.
- An unincorporated artist collective or ensemble must:
- Have at least one individual artist who is a resident of the Bronx, AND
- Designate a lead artist or administrator as BCA’s primary contact. A nonprofit organization must:
- Show proof of 501(c)(3) status for at least one year prior to the application,
- Have a compliant board of directors1 , AND
- Have a core artistic mission and/or a history of arts programming
