OP is seeking to partner with organizations that have a deep history of serving any one of the following priority communities: residents with lower incomes in Wards 4, 5, 7 and/or 8 and/or residents with limited English proficiency. The DC 2050 CBO Engagement Grant will fund organizations to facilitate public engagement with these communities. Each grantee will develop engagement programming to help overcome barriers to public participation and achieve OP’s goals for equitable engagement.
Funding Information
- Eligible organizations can be awarded a maximum of $30,000.
- Grant awards are for the time period November 2025 – September 30, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations that meet the following eligibility requirements at the time of application may apply:
- A charitable corporation, association, or trust that has been granted tax-exempt status under § 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code;
- Is licensed as a business in good standing with the District of Columbia’s Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection;
- Has a principal place of business in the District of Columbia. If the business is a regional organization, it must have a location in the District through which it provides services; and
- Can provide a “Clean Hands” certificate to verify it is in good financial standing with the Government of the District of Columbia and meet certain insurance requirements.
