The Hancock County Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life throughout Hancock County by investing in area nonprofits through grant programs and by providing individuals, families and area businesses who love communities with a way to give back.
The Foundation is seeking projects that address significant community issues: present innovative, creative, and practical proposals which build on community strengths; develop the leadership potential of the county or community; involved the people served in the planning and implementation of the program, provide a plan for sustainability beyond the funding period, and capital projects that impact a significant number of county residents.

Eligibility Criteria
Grants are available to 501(c)3 organizations and government entities serving Hancock County. Grant selections are made in an effort to create a better quality of life for people in Hancock County. The local governing committee reviews the applications from charitable organizations serving their community.
