Requirements
Definining “Afterschool Programs”: For the purpose of this grant opportunity, “afterschool programs” are defined as structured, safe, and supervised programs offered to school-aged children and youth outside of regular school hours (before school, after school, weekends, and/or during school breaks). These programs typically provide academic support, enrichment opportunities (arts, sports, STEM, recreation), mentoring, and/or social-emotional development. Afterschool programs are distinct from unstructured childcare and aim to help children learn, grow, and thrive in supportive environments.
