Funding Priorities
- Funding of immediate, stand-alone or short term projects.
- Funding that supports paying artists/performers, supplies and materials, marketing and promotion and venue rental fees.
- Supporting programs and projects that include under resourced/underrepresented communities.
- Partnerships with Community Organizations are not required, but strongly encouraged.
Funding Information
Funding amount has been increased to $2500. Applicants may apply with 2 distinctly different programs and potentially be funded for each at $2500, for a maximum award of $5,000 for the calendar year.
Who is eligible to apply?
- Artists, collectives, unincorporated groups, tribal organizations, and non-profit organizations residing in Nassau and Suffolk counties are all eligible to apply.
- Non-profit organizations based in Nassau or Suffolk County must submit an IRS determination letter or 990 filing with a current Nassau or Suffolk county-based address.
Who is ineligible to apply?
- Students matriculated in a full-time academic program.
- Applicants registered as an LLC.
