Projects may provide skills training to individuals and/or assist individuals with connecting to careers.
Funding Information
- Up to $25,000 (higher amounts may be available for work-based learning initiatives)
- Applicants may apply for funding to serve more than one region, but the budget cannot exceed $25,000 per region
- Applicant must provide a description of all leveraged resources (i.e. in-kind or cash match)
- Grant period: 1 year (up to 2 years for work based learning projects (i.e. pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship, internship, cooperative education)).

- Work-based learning opportunities
- Classroom or virtual training
- Soft skill development
Eligibility Criteria
- Be physically located in Idaho with fiscal capacity to manage funds
- Represent a community-based team with business, education, and community partners
- Address employer-identified skills gaps through new or enhanced training
