Details:
The long-standing grant program provides project-related funds to municipalities and public and private nonprofit organizations. Public/private cooperative projects and regional economic development projects also qualify. These funds are intended to support impactful local projects in the areas of local community development and economic development. Special consideration will be given to projects demonstrating measurable economic development outcomes (i.e., job creation, retention, etc.).
Funding Information
This year, the grant pool is $185,000 in total, broken into two grant pools. $100,000 is available for two larger-scale projects called IMPACT Grants ($50,000 per project). $85,000 is available for smaller grants (called a STANDARD grant), with a maximum award of $15,000 per project.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are accepted from local governments and nonprofit organizations recognized by the IRS in Lincoln County. A project can also be a public/private partnership with the nonprofit as the applicant and fiscal agent. An applicant’s organization must be in good standing with the IRS and cannot owe past-due taxes to Lincoln County. An applicant can submit only one application each year.
