Priorities
The Amazon Loudoun County Community Fund will make grants to fund projects implemented by nonprofits for the benefit of Loudoun residents in the following categories:
- Health and Wellness: Projects and programs that promotes physical and mental health through access to care, preventive services, wellness programs, and community-based health initiatives.
- Food Security: Projects and programs that ensure reliable access to affordable, nutritious, and culturally relevant food through programs such as food pantries, community gardens, and nutrition education.
- Community Infrastructure for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention: Programs or projects that supporting safe housing and shelter for people experiencing homelessness or domestic violence, or projects or programs that address homelessness prevention or diversion.
- Sustainability and Environment: Projects and programs that protect Loudoun’s natural resources, promote renewable energy, and build community resilience to environmental and climate challenges.
- Social Cohesion: Projects and programs that build stronger, more connected communities by supporting initiatives that foster trust, belonging, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Funding Information
- $150,000 will be available for distribution.
- Grants ranging between $500 and $10,000 will be considered.
Eligibility Requirement
Eligible applicant organizations must be a 501(C)3 nonprofit public charity in good standing with the IRS. Applicant organizations’ funding proposals must specifically serve Loudoun residents or the Loudoun community.
