Each year, they award transformational grants to nonprofit organizations serving Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana. Whether your organization is new, small or an established nonprofit, the goal is to help fund programs and projects that make a tangible, sustainable difference in the region. They welcome applications from nonprofits of all sizes with bold, community-centered ideas.

Funding Information

Projects must be able to utilize the full $100,000 grant within a one- to three-year timeframe.

Eligibility Criteria

Organizations that apply to Impact 100 must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Applicants must be registered as a 501(c)(3) or 509(a) public charity and with a letterfrom the IRS available as a .pdf and be providing services aligned with an Impact 100 Focus Area (Culture; Education; Environment, Preservation, & Recreation; Family, Health & Wellness)
  • The proposed project must directly serve communities within at least one of the following counties: in Ohio—Hamilton, Clermont, Butler, Warren, Brown, or Adams; in Kentucky—  Boone, Campbell, or Kenton; and in Indiana—Dearborn.
  • Only new initiatives or significant expansions of existing programs are eligible. Proposals must demonstrate a clear community need, measurable outcomes, and sustainable impact. Projects must be able to utilize the full $100,000 grant within a one- to three-year timeframe.
  • Applicants must submit a detailed project budget, the most recent IRS Form 990 or audited financials, and documentation demonstrating the organization’s fiscal health.
  • Organizations that have received an Impact 100 grant within the past three years are not eligible to apply again during that period.
  • Grant funds may not be used for endowments, existing operating expenses, partisan activities, completed projects, individual churches, indigent care subsidies, travel, loans, or for individuals.
  • Collaborative projects are encouraged. In such cases, one organization must serve as the lead applicant and be responsible for submitting all required documentation. Regrants to other nonprofit organizations are not permitted.
