The aim of this funding is to enhance existing marketing efforts. Therefore, a detailed budget outlining marketing expenditures is required. These funds are specifically allocated to benefit unincorporated Eagle County and Gypsum. All events or venues must be located within unincorporated Eagle County or the Town of Gypsum. The committee’s focus is on promoting tourism, recreation, and cultural events, and it encourages innovative and collaborative initiatives among organizations.

Total funds for this 2026 disbursement period are anticipated to be approximately $350,000.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for these funds
- Applicants must fall into one of the following categories– 501(C)(3 or 6); a for-profit, independently owned local business; the Town of Gypsum; or a special district or authority that does not collect lodging tax.
- Applicant organizations must exist for at least three (3) years before requesting funds.
- The business or nonprofit must be registered with the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office and be in good standing with Eagle County for required permits, licenses, taxes, and fees. A W-9 is required.
- These funds shall not be used for any capital expenditures, with the exception of tourist information centers.
- These funds shall enhance marketing presence and strategy and not include operational or programmatic expenses.
- The applicant organization and its project must focus efforts on the geographic areas that collect lodging tax (unincorporated Eagle County and the municipality of Gypsum). Any events or venues must be within unincorporated Eagle County or the Town of Gypsum.
- The marketing program funded by the grant award produces positive, measurable results supported by data such as attendee information, marketing performance, and/or other performance indicators.
- Funding is disbursed in two lump sum amounts, at the date of award and upon completion of program reporting. Therefore, organizations must have a source of cash flow to support their projects during the award period. Funding cannot be used for expenses already paid for by any other local, state, or federal grant funding.
