Eligibility Criteria
The recipient of a Linn County Cultural Coalition grant must be an incorporated nonprofit organization qualifying as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)3, 501(c)4, 501(c)6, a unit of local government, or an unincorporated group or individual whose application is sponsored by a tax-exempt organization or unit of local government.
Ineligibility
Projects that are ineligible for Linn County Cultural Coalition grants include:
- annual scholarships
- projects whose primary purpose is to promote a political or religious viewpoint or
- that primarily benefit a political, religious, labor, fraternal, or athletic group or a
- commercial venture
- fundraisers (although a cultural activity that is part of a fundraiser may be eligible).
