The purpose of this policy is to promote partnerships between the Town and general nonprofit organizations for the benefit of Cary residents, to equitably and efficiently allocate resources to strengthen organizations, and to provide sound and clear methods for decision.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a General Non-Profit Grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nonprofit Status: The applicant must be a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 state and federal tax-exempt status and in good standing with their state of incorporation.
- Cary focus: The applicant must be based in Cary or the surrounding region and operate programs, activities, or services in Cary.
