Each year, Gilroy Assistance League accepts grant requests that will benefit youth organizations, programs and schools. Any South Santa Clara County youth-related organization or school can apply for a grant.
Funding Information
Maximum request shall be $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations must serve South Santa Clara County – Gilroy, San Martin, and Morgan Hill.
- Cannot apply for the same grant request after 3 years of consecutively receiving funds for the same project.
- One application per department of an organization
- Organization does not have to be a 501(3)(c).
- Grants will not be given to individuals, must be a group or organization.
- Purpose of the grant must primarily provide services to youth 18 years or under.
- Applicant is agreeable to partial funding of their grant request.
- If awarded a grant, a Final Report is required by December 31st of that year. The report should include receipts from purchases made using the grants funds. Failure to submit a report will render your organization ineligible to apply for a grant the following year.
- Money in excess of $100.00 not spent by December 31st must be returned to Gilroy Assistance League unless an extension is granted by the Executive Board and Grants Committee.
