Funding Information
An organization may only submit one grant request in a 12-month period for a maximum of $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Community-based nonprofits, 501(c)(3) organizations, government nonprofit agencies, and academic institutions.
- Eligible applicants must serve individuals with disabilities in Ohio. The organizations they consider for support are located primarily in Clark, Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Hamilton, Butler, Preble and Warren counties.
- The size and number of grant awards are directly related to the amount of money available each year and restrictions placed upon the use of the fund.
- They reserve the right to make exceptions to the grant application process.
- The organization must be established for at least two years as a nonprofit organization and have a track record of sustainability
- Funding in consecutive years is not guaranteed.
- First-time applicants are encouraged; previous recipients should not expect annual funding.
- Requests should focus on specific projects or equipment that directly benefit individuals with disabilities.
- Capacity-building proposals must include clear metrics on projected growth and impact.
