The City anticipates receiving approximately $400,000 in CDBG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to be allocated to eligible PY 2026-2027 activities. The CDBG Program is designed to support activities that (1) benefit low- and moderate-income persons, (2) aid in the prevention of slums or blight, and (3) meet an urgent community need. Through this NOFA, the City invites nonprofit organizations to apply for eligible activities that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income individuals or households earning no more than 80% of the area median income for Santa Clara County. HUD limits the amount of CDBG funding that may be used for public service activities to 15% of the City’s annual CDBG allocation.
