When families experience housing instability, the consequences extend far beyond the loss of shelter, as it invariably affects health and education, among other things. The chair of the commission stated that the Marion Civil Rights Commission is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen housing security for residents and is proud to offer this grant opportunity.

Eligibility Criteria
The grant will help non-profits, charitable organizations or other entities interested in assisting low- and moderate-income individuals with programs that address housing instability. The program, service or activity must have an impact on Marion residents.
